Brief Introduction

The Society, Shri Ram Nath Educational & Welfare Society was established in 2007 with the objective of imparting education in various fields like Education (B.Ed and J.B.T), Polytech, I.T.I and Pulic schools to deprived students of rural areas in Fatehabad Districts. The society has produced lot of trained manpower in the above fields to serve the Haryana state in particular and the nation in general.  

The Apex Institute of Veterinary Livestock Development Diploma (Institute) is a component institute of the Group of Institutes run by the Society Shri Ram Nath Educational & Welfare Society. It was established in September, 2017 after obtaining approval from the Haryana Government and affiliation from Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar as per envisaged rules.  
The Objective of the Institute is to produce Para-Veterinarians to assist the Registered Veterinary Practitioners. The Para-Veterinarians provide minor veterinary services and required to support and help veterinarians for health care and management of livestock and thus contribute towards the development of animal Husbandry, Dairy Sector and Veterinary Extension Services. Thus demand of Para-Vets is expected to increase with the expansion of these sectors.The Institute has modern infra-structure and equipments including Lecture halls with audio-visual aids, and well-equipped laboratories, Veterinary Hospital, and Animal Farm as per University norms. The College has capacious, well ventilated library with sufficient books and National and Regional Daily News Papers.

Mission & Vision

  • To develop the skill of youth of the area with regard to their knowledge for breeding, feeding, management and health control of farmers’ livestock and thus enabling them for government, private and self-employment in veterinary and animal husbandry sector. This will bridge the gap between available and to be required para veterinarians in the Haryana state.

  • The institute has been established w.e.f. June, 2017 with the mission/objective of producing Para Veterinarians to assist the Registered Veterinary Practitioners in treatment and management of livestock. The Para Veterinarians provide minor veterinary services although huge in quantum which are needed to support and help the Veterinarians for health care and management of livestock and thus contribute towards the development of Animal Husbandry and Dairy sector. The also play an important role in Veterinary Extension services at the door step of farmers and considered integral part of the Veterinary Service Delivery system. The demand of para vets is also expected to increase due to opening of new Veterinary Hospitals, Veterinary Poly Clinics, Diagnostic Laboratories, Dairy Plants, Dairy Farms and Milk Processing Units in Government as well as Private Sector. In addition to this keeping in view large population of livestock in Haryana, much more number of para vets are still required to justify the animal husbandry services.
